The Winery: This is an incredibly beautiful stone winery and tasting room inspired by the Jacuzzi family home in Italy. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior, with multi story vaulted ceilings in the entry and hall, a olive oil tasting room and gift shop and separate room to taste the estate wines. The tasting room is large and beautifully decorated with a bar that appears to be made from large barrels laid on their sides and cut in half. It is very modern, almost cavernous facility with large steel tanks and oak barrels around the outside and tasting in the center. The Winery: The winery building is a beautiful five-level gravity flow facility that looks like the old Spanish style ranch homes California is known for, but on an impressive scale, created in a color and style that blends in with the surrounding hills. The estate began life as a cattle ranch in 1800s, and was purchased by the Nicholson family in 1962. In 1996 the first vineyards were planted and the winery was begun in 2000.
