The Winery: This is an incredibly beautiful stone winery and tasting room inspired by the Jacuzzi family home in Italy. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior, with multi story vaulted ceilings in the entry, an olive oil tasting room and gift shop, and a separate tasting room for the estate wines. The tasting room is large and beautifully decorated with a bar that appears to be made from large barrels laid on their sides and cut in half. The winery is owned by the Cline family, which also owns and operates Cline Cellars.

The Vineyards: The winery gets its grapes from the 190-acre estate where they grow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Barbera and Sangiovese in volcanic and adobe clay soils. The estate maintains seven vineyards on the Sonoma Coast, close to the ocean, where they grow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Nebbiolo, and Sangiovese along with olives for their olive oil. The vineyards at Jacuzzi and Cline Cellars are certified Green Sting, natural and sustainable farming.

The Wines: The wines of Jacuzzi are of a very different style from those of Cline, even though they share winemaker Charlie Tsegeletos. Jacuzzi wines are very much done in the Italian style, focusing on such varietals as Pinot Grigio, Primitivo and Sangiovese. They also produce multiple Chardonnay styles, highlighting the difference of terroir and winemaking techniques, that are worth trying side by side if you have the opportunity.

The Winemaker: Charlie Tsegeletos grew up in an Italian and Greek family where wine was central to any meal or celebration. He received his degree from University of California, Davis in Agricultural and Plant Science. Before coming to Cline Cellars he worked for Pendleton Winery, Hacienda Wine Cellar, D’Agostini Winery and Glen Ellen. Mr. Tsegeletos is the winemaker at both Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards.
