The Winery:
The studio, created by the Michael Mondavi family, is home to several different wine brands including Hangtime, Medusa, I’M, Mahoney Vineyards, Oberon, Spellbound and Mayro-Murdick. The tasting room offers wine & food pairings, art exhibits and wine education programs mixed in with splendid local views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. The facility was originally home to Carneros Creek, credited with ushering in a new era in winemaking in the Carneros AVA.

The Vineyards: The winery has no vineyards of their own but is located adjacent to the Gavin Vineyards owned by Mahonney Vineyards.

The Wines:
The wines available to taste at Folio include those from the wineries that represent the studio as well as those from the Wine Partnership and represent a large array of varietals and styles. They also offer wines from such great wine regions as those in Spain, New Zealand and Australia.

The Winemaker:
The winemaker at Folio is Tony Coltrin who began his 30 years of winemaking experience at the Napa Valley Robert Mondavi Winery. Robert Mondavi’s grandson, Rob Mondavi is also a winemaker at Folio as well as being one of the founding partners.
